Hello!
My name is Guilherme Yukio Shimabukuro, I am a freelance illustrator and I live in São Paulo, Brazil. I graduated from the Federal University of São Paulo in History of Art.
I try to draw a little bit of everything, but I tend to focus more on character design (humans, animals and anthropomorphic beings).
We humans have this fascinating and unique feature of structuring our world through narratives. I believe that to create an image is also to create a narrative that dialogues with the culture and the context in which we are part of.
That being said, which story do you want to tell? Maybe I can help you create your narrative if my style pleases you. Feel free to contact me about this or any other subject.
Oh, and sometimes I try to make amigurumi too (amigurumi is a crochet doll; you can see some of them in my Instagram).
